Borderless Gaming

Legacy v9.6.0 / Final Release

Ten or so years ago, I wrote a small utility so I could play Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance without it crashing. Now, Borderless Gaming is used by millions of people all around the world to improve their gaming experience.

Of all the projects I've worked on over the years, it holds a special place in my heart. As I sunset the legacy version in anticipation of the full release of the rewrite, I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for your support and for trusting my code to make your games better.

As such, this is the last official release of Borderless Gaming (Legacy). I've fixed some security issues in its dependencies, removed the updater and Steam functionality, and made some basic quality of life improvements so there continues to be a free version for those who need it.

For the latest and most stable version of Borderless Gaming, grab the rewrite from Steam where the windowing engine has been rewritten to provide greater game compatibility, and new features such as app containers, upscaling, and soon frame generation are on the way.

Thank you all for your support.
